We are a group of sixth form students who have chosen to participate in a prominent change initiative (held by Leading Change) known as ‘The Buzz’. Our campaign focuses on supporting the community by establishing a designated space for children to go to instead of hanging around town.
The rationale behind our campaign is to address anti-social behaviour within our community. Our goal is to provide a designated third space for children to go to, diverting them from the streets and into a secure
environment. This initiative is crucial as it will open new opportunities for social interaction, skill development, and personal growth. We firmly believe that this opportunity will not only reduce criminal activity but also foster a sense of belonging and community among the youth.
We are confident that this initiative will facilitate children in building social connections, boosting their morale and self-esteem, enhancing their confidence, and ultimately helping them to develop essential skills.
