Our Study Programme
All students will select three subjects plus one of the following: Extended Project Qualification, Core Maths, Further Maths or GCSE Resit English Language/Maths. Students who require a more bespoke offer can discuss this with the sixth form team upon application.
Alongside the qualification programmes all students will have one hour per week of personal development, shown on student timetables as Tutorial. This course covers key issues including health and well-being, study skills, relationships, careers educations, staying safe (including online) and RE units.
In addition to this, students are also expected to participate in supporting their wider development through enrichment and volunteering opportunities. These can include mentoring and supporting younger students, running and participate in clubs and activities and contributing to leadership and development opportunities.
Students in Year 12 are also supported to complete high quality work experience in the summer term to help prepare them for making post-18 applications on return to Year 13.
